Welcome to Mina Elementary! I am excited to join this amazing campus and be part of a community that is dedicated to supporting students, staff, and families. 

I have experience in both general and special education, which has allowed me to work with a wide range of learners and develop a strong passion for meeting the needs of every student. I began my career in the classroom, teaching multiple grade levels and supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs. My background includes working in life skills, resource, and behavior settings, where I developed a deep understanding of differentiated instruction, behavior supports, and meeting students where they are. I also served as an ARD Facilitator, where I led special education meetings, collaborated closely with families and staff, and worked to ensure that every student received the support they needed to be successful.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University and later completed my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at Tyler. My experiences have shaped my belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and intentional support are the foundation of a successful school.

I am committed to creating a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, every teacher feels supported, and every family feels connected. I believe in using data to guide instruction and decisions, while always keeping what is best for students at the center of our work.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, as well as crafting. I am truly excited to be part of the Mina Elementary community and look forward to a great year!
